Back to School, Back to School...to Prove to Dad...
Did anyone else fondness Billy Madison?
It is almost time for school to start here in the world of Three Mommas. Our children begin school next week, and I CANNOT believe it. My oldest will be in K-5, and my youngest will be starting his 2-year-old extraction at his preschool.
When I was growing up, this time of year was, next to Christmas, my very favorite time. All of the excitement and anticipation of the first day of school - who would come back to my genre, what the new students would be like, how I would like my teacher. My mother always took us shopping for our back-to-school clothes, supplies, backpacks, etc. We would dish out hours at the mall (about an hour away from our house), cramming into dressing room after dressing room after dressing lodge, trying on jeans, sweaters, cute tops, and everything else.
This was one of the things I was truly looking forward to when my son started K-4 last year. Of class, the school he attends (which happens to be my alma mater) allows only uniforms to be worn, so most of the clothes shopping was strictly online. We did go attain a few supplies and some new shoes and it was fun. However, I recently found out that this year, we will just be purchasing supplies directly from the school, and they will be placed in his desk on the first day.
I am so bummed!
I give the impression like the back-to-school shopping was such a rite of passage for me, and now I am missing out on doing this with my son. We did go pick out a new lunchbox (he has one that looks brand new, but I wanted to go acquiring SOMETHING to celebrate his new school year). I know that he is thrilled about school and has no idea that this isn't the way back-to-school is for everyone, but I am a little disappointed. Oh well - Mom will have to get over it, huh?
Any ideas for a "tradition" to make good on conventional back-to-school shopping? Do any of you run into the same problems? I am kind of struggling with this, and

Any way I can order messenger bag with a custom design?
Mar 11, 2009 by HPlover4eva | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
I'm looking for a situation that can provide bags with a custom design option. However, the sites that I've seen so far don't seem to supply the type of bag I would like.
Any chance I can get a bag like this?

I'm planning to use this as a school bag, so I really only want to order one bag, and I cant spend too much on it.
Can I enter the US several days earlier than the start of school day ?

So here is my event, I got the visa with the annotation that says "Studying in RWU, Rhode Island"; the thing is I got an uncle residing in Seattle and postulate I wanna pay him a visit for a few days before heading for RI. It's like a transit place, actually. But say do I encounter any difficulties from the customs as my traveller "seems to be not in the right place" ? Beginning of school is on 19th of August and I'm intending to reach him on 15th. Help out please !
Vision my question was easy though. Alright, so I booked my flight and will come straight to Seattle first and then return to Rhode Archipelago after a few days (before 19th of August). Is that okay ?
I am assuming you are studying in the U.S on an F-1 visa, if this is the case then you can commence the U.S no more than 30 days before your course commences.
So you will be fine.
Have a safe journey, enjoy the experience and good fluke with your studies!
---------------------
Edit due to your additional information:
Yes. You can enter the United States at any entry point in the country no more than 30 days former to your studies commencing. So you are perfectly fine flying into Seattle and then to Rode Island.
Put it this way you can enter America no earlier than the 20th July (this year as already past) You could fly there TOMORROW and have not a single problem at customs.
Enjoy yourself and good luck!

be unabashed and clear about your own state of mind
You're opportune, in my scjhool it was just voluntary and you couldn't let the teachers find out.
Go for it mate, in fact try to exceed the target and that will really strike people.
