What age do you have to be to attend medical schools in USA?
Hi, Im 16 and Im from the UK. I was reasoning about going to the USA to start medical school but I don't know what age you have to be to start medical school in the USA. Can anyone give me any details please and maybe advice on good medical schools. Thankyou.
If you degenerate to be a doctor, you must have an undergraduate degree before you can attend medical school. You can technically have any degree, but it is better to have biology or chemistry as a principal. There is also an entrance test that is very difficult (MCAT). So, about age 20-21.
When do medical schools start interviewing?
I have fair-minded completed my UCAS form (I am in upper sixth form of college - A2) and am wondering when medical schools start interviewing so i have knowledge of how to plan my preparation for the interview.
Thanks
Don't be acquainted with where your from but in Scotland term time for medical students has already started.?
Any advice on medical schools that are good at accepting unusual applicants?
I am applying to medical devotees as a mature student who left school without the standard GCSEs due to bad family issues. Also as I still support my family it has charmed me longer to do my A levels. A lot of Universities are very uninterested unless you are 'standard' some may be different, I know Peninsula is. I wondered if anyone knew any that are dependable so that it helps me choose which ones to apply to!
Dunno, but conform out Peterson's Guide as a starting point. There IS information of this sort that can be found. You might Google "untraditional student" and "medical opinion" and see if anything comes up.
Good luck!
