How many School Bus accidents is it successful to take to realize that seat belts should be mandetory on School Buses?
Whatever the cost and whatever it takes to ensure that the seat belts are on and well fastened on each Child should be the responsibily of anyone who drives a School Bus! If drivers don't want that responsibility they should not be driving a School Bus!
The Board of Education must on policies, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that all passengers, including the driver, wear these belts or harnesses or both, whenever the bus is in turbulence.
However, a school bus driver may not be held personally liable for the failure of passengers to wear safety belts as required by the Quarter's regulations.

Neutral a bit of friendly advise from across the pond. On my commute to and from work I'll see one or two children getting off the bus which is fine but the bus then will travel one block or less to decrease of one or two more kids. I've looked to see if they might be special needs children which would be fine. My point is that organising pick-up drop-off zones with at least 1/2 a dozen kids well-deserved seams logical and puts less wear and tear on brakes and fuel.I hope this is use full. From Manchester By The Sea Massachusetts.
