How do I get into Law school in the UK?
I live in Canada. After I get my Bachelors of Merchandising (Business Degree), I want to go to law school in England, preferably Oxford or Cambridge. What exactly do I have to do between then and now (besides get perfect grades)? Is there a analysis you must take in order to be accepted into a Bristish Law school? How long does it take to become a UK citizen? What if my mum is a UK citizen, and I'm 19?
Inspect the degree yoU will do is recognised by the Law Society of the uk (I would have thought a canadian degree is acceptable) then you should be able to do the Graduate Diploma in Law(GDL). You do emergency a degree first. In the UK you do not need specifically a "Law" degree to be a solicitor or barrister You are probably better off doing a distinctive degree like commerce (as opposed to a basic law degree) anyway as it looks better on your CV. The GDL is a one year full time or two year part moment course that gives you a basic understanding of UK law and lets you train as a solicitor (need to do Legal Practice Headway following this - another year full time) or as a barrister (one year full time Bar Vocational Course).

If you scarceness Oxford or Cambridge specifically look at their websites, I don't know if they offer the GDL.
There are loads of places that offer these courses and costs change but full time is generally about £7000-£10000 so they're not cheap. Do a google search for GDL and go from there. The Law Society looks after solicitors (http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/domestic.law) and Barristers are looked after by the "Inns of Court" ( http://www.lincolnsinn.org.uk/ - is one of the 4 inns) will give you more facts on career pathways.
If your mum is a UK citizen it should be easyish for you to get citizenship in the UK but look on http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/britishcitizenship/eligibility/ to see what you difficulty to do.
So, for now: get your degree in commerce. While at Uni see what stuff you can do to boost your CV - legal societies, debating societies, write for the uni newspaper etc. Find a place to do the GDL. Move to Britain and go from there!

Are my chances of applying to law school lowered as a bio major?
I have a hilarious GPA for a bio major based on the fact that it is above the average for top med schools (usual majors are bio, biochem, other science associated majors). However, since law schools typically have a higher GPA acceptance common than medical schools, I am just in the range for the top law schools. Would law schools take into account that I am a bio major or would they still base their assessment of my GPA on their ordinarily.
Law schools can be comely sophisticated in their evaluation of applications. Not only do they recognize differential GPAs by major, but they also have a system for giving more credit to those who graduated from "tougher" universities. I wouldn't nettle about it too much, if I were you.
