Preschool Backpack Decision
I a moment ago put in an order for Sam’s preschool backpack! I’m so excited about it. I gave her ten different choices and printed them out on a piece of script. I did not include the princess or Dora backpacks that we had seen at Target. After she looked at all of them very closely, she sure on… tada! The purple fairy backpack from Sweet Dreams!
I did tell her that she could go ahead with the Dora or Princess backpacks we had seen but luckily, she liked this one. She first started to go for the ballerina choice since she is a ballerina (she informed me) but then decided she loved the fairy choice. I’m very happy, I liked that one too! We negotiated on what to put for her name. She always tells people that her name is ‘Samantha’ and that ‘S, A, M, spells Samantha’. LOL – So I wanted to grasp what she would go by. We NEVER call her Samantha though so after we talked about Sammie or Sam, she wanted Sam.

Then, I went a little crazy and got the matching lunchbox too. As well as the beautiful little carry-all. Hey, why not.
So I can’t wait for it to get here! School starts in a month, it’s flying by quick. I can’t decide if I’m excited or sad about that. It should be fun. I am excited about her meeting new friends.
