Tough to become a punter on my high school football team need help
im 16 wil lbe in 11th grade im trying to become the punter for my highschool team, i have about two weeks from tryouts, i am uncommonly good at soccer played for my school got MVP and all-conference, and could kick the soccer ball the furthest on my team, but punting a football is alot unusual it seems. can anyone help me on how to punt the ball further/higher and give me tips or techniques .. thanks

What sentiment do you initially play? Punting isnt that important in high school. One of our offensive guards was our punter and one of our linebackers was our placekicker. Once in a notable while will a high school team have just a kicking specialist, it is not like the pros. You need an in at a skilled position first more than likely to contrive the team, then you more than likely will be a shoe in for the kicking duties.

Can I copy sections of a CD that Hi School football games were recorded on and burn them to a DVD?
I have a new Dell laptop which came with a program called Sonic Digital Media. I am in with Pinnacle Studio 9. They seem to be similar programs. I know how to capture video from a video camera and use that info, but I don't certain how to convert some High School football video I was given on a CD. I was asked to select some different sections of each game and put those on a DVD for a kid to send out to college prospects.
I be convinced of I can load Nero, which my wife has on her PC. There are 3 versions listed that look like they could be what might work: Nero Burning ROM 6.3.1.19, Nero StartSmart 1.0.1.24, Nero Illusion Express 2.1.2.17.
I've just got the one CD/DVD tray on the laptop.
I'm guessing that I transfer the info to the hard drive and then burn to DVD somehow, but I've also got the difficulty of not wanting to use all of the video on the CD's. They only want sections from each game.

It depends upon the layout that the video is in on the CD. For example, if the format was mpeg you could use an open source program like Movica to select the segments that you in need of and generate a new mpeg file. That file could then be converted to DVD format with a program such as Cyberlinks Power Producer. There is a plenitude of information, user guides, and a forum at http://www.vcdhelp.com
