American School Buses vs. Chinese Children Saluting Cars

America’s understandable and middle schools all have specialized vehicles for transporting students (school bus). This kind of vehicle is painted yellow, and has an automated stop sign on the side of the driver’s seat (stop arm). This kind of red octagon sign only has one word on it, “sojourn”, no different from the stop sign at any intersection, with the only difference being that it can be opened and closed, like an elephant’s ears. The gesture is normally closed along the body of the school bus, but when students are getting on or off the bus, the driver will open it.
During this time, no matter whether there are cars in front, behind, left-hand, or right, including police cars, all must stop, even the president’s ride is not an exception. When the bus driver believes the students are appropriate, has closed the sign, only then are other cars allowed to continue drive. If the bus does not have a sign installed, then the driver must get off the bus and be up the sign, forbidding all cars to pass. This is to protect the country’s next generation, a right given to the school bus by the law.
When I first went to America, I did not take cognizance of the rules, and once wanted to slowly drive around the school bus, but an American screamed and yelled at me, startling me a lot.

when i was on a school bus it was almost full and was make to go the driver was smoking the bus had signs saying no smoking whlie bus is in motion and while on holiday tours there is also a law that there is no smoking in a manifest place

It is outlawed full stop to smoke in a enclosed public place - which a bus is - since 1st July 2007, and it has ALWAYS been illegal to smoke in front of minors - which school children are.
Communiqu it not only to the company that run the service. But also to the local council.
No you can NOT be disallowed on the bus for reporting it.

Depends what native land you are in.
If it is the UK then definately yes, it is illegal as that constitutes the drivers workplace.
