I recognize it's bad to use physical punishment but she tries my patience so much everyday that it is becoming a habit to give her a caning at least once a day. My family, and my in-laws have also tried their vanquish. Would pre-school help?

If you were caned on the hand and the backside at school which caning hurt the most?
I was never caned on the hands.
My guy says the backside because although your hands would bleed the backside always seemed to be missed and you would be hit across the back off your tensed thighs or on the tendons at the back of your knees , this meant that bruising would take days decent to surface and walking or sitting was agony for at least a week .
A cricket bat across the back of the knees while he was stood up was the worst , he hadn't done anything and was tying his shoes pounce on when bang he headbutted the floor he went down so fast , unfortunately for the teacher his own bat fell alongside him and he says he came up at full flapping and knocked the teacher out cold .
He was 13 years old .

when i was at school stock manners was essential or the cane was used to correct us, it certainly worked no doubt about that , sore hands or six red lines painted on to your bottom ineluctable taught you how to behave, as one teacher used to tell us by lowering the knickers im raising the standards
Yes they should be tempered to again. Students in schools today have no respect for their teachers, some discipline is needed without a doubt. What else can you do? When bad kids know that the counsellor/police or any authoritative people cannot do anything to them, then they know they can get away with anything, and this kind of behaviour does not bode well for the future....in lieu of of having decent adults we will have adult thugs inflicting misery on other people.

Yes I did - four lads - dont dearth to go into details - but they so deserved it and more.
