You can still get a federal lend. Try Sallie Mae.
Why not leave the grants for people who DON"T make the kind of money you do. Why don't you try paying attention to the money you prepare (I know, un-fun, but that's the life of a grown up) and where it's going and were you need to discipline yourself and your wife in spending. There are many good books on budgeting, may I indicate "Budgeting for Dummies" in the dummies series of books. I love how all the dummies books are written audibly, and step by step, to avoid missing anything. Try it, a budget IS for everyone....sad that the last generation of parents didn't teach their children recovered money management. But you can do this!
