Where I breathe there are quite a few school buses, they are on about bringing the yellow school buses over here. I mull over it would be a great idea in areas where children have to walk more than 10-15 minutes to get to school. Where children only have to walk 10-15 minutes it would be improve to set up 'walking-bus' arrangements to get all the kids to school safely.

How many School Bus accidents is it growing to take to realize that seat belts should be mandetory on School Buses?
Whatever the cost and whatever it takes to ensure that the seat belts are on and properly fastened on each Baby should be the responsibily of anyone who drives a School Bus! If drivers don't want that responsibility they should not be driving a School Bus!
The Board of Education must adopt policies, guidelines, and regulations to secure that all passengers, including the driver, wear these belts or harnesses or both, whenever the bus is in motion.
However, a school bus driver may not be held personally disposed for the failure of passengers to wear safety belts as required by the Board's regulations.
